- The ground mount cannot be located within the front yard and street yard setbacks of the property or in any easements. It needs to be a minimum of 5 feet from the side and rear yards and not occupy more than 30% of those required yards (Maricopa County Zoning Ordinance Chapter 11 - Accessory)
- Indicate on your plans the foundation type to be used, provide a liner dimension at the foundation type used for this PV Solar System
- Label the surface type of the driveway on the revised site plan. Note that all driveways must be of a dust-free material or paved and may not be labeled as “dirt”
- The site plan should show all existing structures on the parcel. Any existing, unpermitted structure erected after January first, 2000 will require as-built construction plans or will be required to be removed from the site. The site plan does not include required parcel data. Please show the area of all existing structures, the area of the new PV system, the aggregate area in square feet of new and old structures, and the percent of the lot covered.
- Include the dimensions of the new PV system on the revised site plan. All dimensions must correlate with the submitted building plans.
