Roof Plan

• Specify roofing material, number of layers, and slope(s) on roof plan.
• Conduit must be in the attic unless there is no attic or no workable space in the attic

Electrical Diagram

• THE PV BREAKER SHALL BE LOCATED AT THE OPPOSITE END OF THE MAIN BREAKER OR INPUT FEEDER
• For systems with multiple strings, the plans shall clearly identify how all modules are mapped to each string and/or inverter input.
• Identify where relocated existing loads are being moved from. If relocated more than 6 ft., provide AFCI protection for 15- and 20-amp rated circuitsper Sect. 210.12(B).
• Remove "OR LARGER" from the conduit call-out on the electrical diagram
• Provide a detail for grounding and bonding. The detail should identify the interconnections of module - module, module - rail, rail - rail; the specific manufacturer and model of the grounding lug (UL2703 listed); the conductor size; and any other information that may be needed. See attached LA County Grounding & Bonding packet for reference.
• Optimizers are being used provide a detail showing how to bond them using a listed UL 2703 lay in lug OR the solar edge grounding lug with EGC passing through it.
• Racking systems: “UL 2703 listed racking systems recognized by L.A. County for integrated grounding and bonding can be found at http://dpw.lacounty.gov/bsd/content/publications.aspx?doc=Guide.pdf. The installation instructions for these systems can be downloaded from this page.”

MPU ONLY:

• Are the service conductors fed via an overhead drop or an underground feed? If overhead, provide the size of the service entrance conductors. 
• Cold water bond within 5 feet and at least 1 supplemental electrode are required . Art. 250.50, 250.53(0) 2 ground rods, 6' apart minimum.
• Identify the size of the grounding electrode conductor to all new electrodes that are part of the main service grounding electrode system. GEC shall be sized per Table 250.66
