• This AHJ follows County of Los Angeles (ESS Requirements) (CA).
• Please follow this link to County of Los Angeles (ESS Requirements) (CA)
• IF USING A SUB FEED LUG KIT, VERIFY THE LUG KIT TYPE ON THE TLD (Manufacturer provided kit for the bus bar, breaker style lug connection, etc.)
• ALL Disconnects need to be located within 6’ of the main service panel
• Bollards are required if ESS is/are installed under 3' high in a driveway.
• WALL MOUNTED BATTERIES REQUIRE STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING ON BATTERY LOCATION / ATTACHMENT
• Provide calculation analysis for the ESS gravity and lateral out-of-plane support. Connection at top and bottom of stud maybe required to resist out-of-plane forces unless otherwise justified, not required. Number of fasteners, type, diameter, embedment, hardware brackets, etc. shall be clearly illustrated in detail.

•  Please provide an equipment elevation with building disconnects identified and a corresponding disconnect schedule. 
• All required means of disconnect must be located within 6 feet of the main service panel, on the same wall plane, and not separated from one another by walls, gates, fences, vegetation, or architectural features of the building.
