Calculations to comply with AHJ adopted codes
Regarding Structural Calcs.
1. Use minimum weight for comp shingle of 4 psf.
2. Provide complete calculations to check the Roof Truss for DL+ Partial LL + Download of Panel & DL+/-Wind for roof rafter or roof truss. Check the deflection for each case per CBC Table 1604A.3.
3. Provide Section of Roof Truss in the plan, Showing, the Truss profile with member sizes and the Truss span
4. Rafter details on the plans. They want to see 3 different planes and want us to include the size, spacing and span. And to show the interior load-bearing wall or beam carry the diagonal braces.
5. Provide the loading comparison of the existing condition and the new condition. It should not be more than 5%
6. Provide structural lateral calculations per BCB showing that affected existing lateral resisting elements are no more than 10% overstressed.
