Electrical Diagram
  • Line/Load side taps are allowed; however piercing taps are not allowed must be Polaris type taps to be approved.
  • The conductor size through the production meter is either required to be a minimum of #6 copper or have reducing lugs installed in the jaws of the meter socket. If reducing lugs are to be used, they must be called for in the plan set.
  • The production meter to be used needs to be highlighted on the product sheet per SoCOBD policy.
  • The production meter socket is required to be 200 amp per power company requirements. BHE
  • Detached structure require GEC (show on the line diagram)

NEED SNOW AND WIND LOAD CALCULATIONS PER IronRidge/Nuance, follow AHJ snow load and wind speeds for iron ridge/nuance deliverables; please add iron ridge/nuance pages to plans for GMs.

 The dimensions of all structures, both existing and proposed must be shown.

Setbacks are required for the existing structures as well as any proposed structures.

The scale must be an ENGINEER scale: 1" = 10', 1"= 20', etc.

  • Per AHJ, please use engineer scale on plans instead of architect scale. Plot plans to be drawn to an even numbered engineer scale (1" = 10', 20', 30', etc.) containing the following information on paper no larger than 11" x 17" in size (Note: Arial view maps will not be accepted.)


For structures over a 1000 sqft, AHJ requires erosion control plan. See attached file for information on how to build one.
