Per LDC Section 250129(1)(g) Whenever possible, solar panels must be placed on the slope of the roof away from the front of the structure or away from the side facing the road. Vent pipes, nonmotorized turbines, skylights, cupolas, steeples, solar collectors and chimneys shall not be subject to this provision. ** AN ENGINEERING LETTER MAY BE PROVIDED TO JUSTIFY THE SOLAR PANEL ASSEMBLY AT PORTION OF THE ROOF FRONTING THE RIGHT OF WAY/STREET.
