PV plans must provide an NOA for the sealant being used. Level 1 alteration, as per FBC 2020, requires smoke detectors, if not already existing. Please provide floor plan showing detector locations throughout house and how detectors will be powered, either by 10 year non-removable battery or hardwired. If hardwired, provide AFCI protection for circuit. Separate PDFs required by engineer signers. One PDF with structural pages only (remove electrical pages) signed by the SE, a second PDF with the electrical pages only (remove structural pages) signed by the EE.
