Plan Set Requirements

Planset requirements for Roof mounted modules:

  • Roof-mounted solar panels must be installed as flush to the roof as possible.
  • Panels cannot extend higher than the roof peak height
  • On flat roofs, panels may extend up to 3 feet above the roofline.

****Every Planset (on the attachment page) must include a side/profile drawing.

  • See "Profile Height" in the Files for an example:
  • Max Building Height: (from grade to peak)
  • Max Panel Height: (highest vertical point the panels will reach)
  • Height Difference: (building height minus the panel height, should be positive to show we will not install higher than the peak)
  • This can be a list on the Site Plan page or it can be pointed out on the Site Plan.


Additional Requirements

  • Note next to the panels on the Equipment List the colors/shade of the panels. For example: Modules are dark, black on black on black (the installer-MP-BBB-400)
  • Additional permits required through County of Klamath (OR). Please see page for requirements.
