For Net Metering Customers who receive service under a rate that does not include a demand component, the Cooperative shall credit a Net-Metering Customer with the amount of any accumulated Net Excess generation as
measured in kWh or kWh multiplied by the applicable retail rate in the next applicable billing period and base the bill of the Net-Metering Customer on the net amount of electricity as measured in kWh or kWh multiplied by the applicable retail rate that the Net-Metering Customer has received from or fed back to the Cooperative during the billing period.

- Install Reqs
For new service a meter socket with a service disconnect is required by the requesting party. The utility will furnish the meter. For existing service seeking net metering, the existing meter socket is used. The meter in an existing service will be replaced with a meter capable to register forward and reverse power flow.
As long as increase to the load/generation does not yield an upgrade on the utility side customer is free to do as they see fit on their side of the meter (load side), as long as all local and national codes are satisfied.
