"When your solar system generation is greater than your load, the district will pay for that energy, as a bill credit, at WMIDD's average annual avoided cost per kWh of purchased energy. For 2021, WMIDD will
credit excess solar generation at the rate of $.03174/kWh. If the Customer's total monthly excess solar generation credit exceeds their monthly energy charge, there will be no credit for any additional (excess) generation."

The connection for the Solar system will need to be placed on the load side of the main breaker of the service panel.
If the Owner wishes to directly meter the energy production of their Generating Facility, Owner shall install a meter socket and associated wiring to allow measurement of energy production from the Generating Facility. The meter socket shall meet WMIDD’s Electric Service Specifications.
There shall be no load connected between the dedicated meter and the panel breaker feeding the solar electric system.
The meter socket shall be located next to the Owner’s existing WMIDD meter.
The owner shall provide and install a meter to measure energy production from the Generating Facility.

Wellton-Mohawk only supplies the main revenue meter, which will be changed to a bi-directional meter at the time of inspection and testing.
- Placards
Owner shall label the disconnect switch with a red placard (and the standard shock hazard sticker) as shown below:
