- System Offset Notes
The City allows you to build 110% of the customer’s 2 year historical usage. There is a system size cap of 25kW for Residential, 500kW for Commercial, and 100kW for Farm.
The maximum size of the system is based on the 2 years of historical usage data. In order for us to provide you with that information this release form needs to be filled out and sent back to a past project :

The City will supply and install a bi-directional meter free of charge in place of the customer’s old meter. The contractor is required to request a Disconnect Power for the home by calling 736-7072 in order to land conduit and wires into the existing meter box. After we receive inspection certificates and Part II of the application we will create a w/o for our meter to be installed.
Some solar companies will place their own meter for their own metering purposes but we do not require such a meter.
