Per Tom at the AHJ, 3LD is allowed in place of SLD.
AHJ ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT DOES NOT ALLOW LIDE SIDE TAP (PER PAUL HOPKINS)
IF A HOME DOES NOT HAVE A METER/MAIN OUTSIDE WITH MB INSIDE MSP - IT MUST BE UPGRADED TO HAVE IT. They want to disconnect outside and inside.
**Informational note**: The electric service utility meter enclosure must have a main breaker and meet all grounding & bonding codes. The utility will install bi-directional meter (swap out) additional dedicated meter not req. Customers can choose to net meter it will cost 350$ to upgrade the utility meter to bi-directional meter and 25$ per quarter to pay for meter readings in order to calculate net energy. They do not yet have AMI meters.
