Net Excess Generation Notes

The kilowatt hours produced by the generator will be credited against the corresponding On/Off peak usage at the rate for that customer-generator’s current class of service. If the customer produces more energy than it uses for the month, the customer will be credited on its bill for the excess generation at the full retail rate and the credit will be carried over to the following billing period.

Compiled from public records, 2026. Tariffs and interconnection rules change; verify with CELD - Chicopee Electric Light before you rely on this. The useful move: if an installer says you need a main panel upgrade, ask how these tap and interconnection policies were considered first.
