Requirements for the current Solar Incentive

  1. Have a capacity of 25 kW DC or less.
  2. Have no more than 20% reduction in output due to shading.
  3. Have an azimuth between 90 (east) and 270 (west) degrees.

If the customer declines the utility incentive or it is unavailable, items 2 and 3 are not required.

  • Locate BOS equipment and disconnect within 10 feet of the utility meter and in an always-accessible area.
  • If equipment cannot be within 10 feet, contact the utility for guidance.
  • Place meter sockets outdoors.

  • AC Disconnect must be a blade-type switch ("knife switch").
