- Site Plan Reqs
WBMLP shall require an external disconnect switch (or comparable device by mutual agreement of the Parties) at the PCC with the WBMLP or at another mutually agreeable point that is accessible to WBMLP personnel at all times and that can be opened for isolation if the switch is required.
The switch shall be gang operated, have a visible break when open, be rated to interrupt the maximum generator output and be capable of being locked open, tagged and grounded on the WBMLP side by WBMLP personnel. The visible break requirement can be met by opening the enclosure to observe the contact separation. The WBMLP shall have the right to open this disconnect switch in accordance with these Interconnection Requirements.
- SLD Reqs
Showing the configuration of all generating facility equipment, current and potential circuits, and protection and control schemes with a Massachusetts Registered Professional Engineer (PE) stamp.
Interconnection requirements for inverter-based interconnections over 10kW are honerous and include multiple relays for over and under voltage and synchronizing. This would be out of the scope of our work and should not be sold.
DC-coupled batteries using a 10kW inverter or less should be okay but AC coupled batteries may be an issue as the aggregated inverter output is likely to exceed the 10kW limit.
Standard form 2S meter sockets are to be installed for generation metering.
- Install Reqs
Temporary Disconnect Reconnect Process (TDR):
"The WBMLP shall furnish, read and maintain all revenue metering equipment. The Interconnecting Customer shall furnish and maintain all meter mounting equipment such as or including meter sockets, test switches, conduits, and enclosures. Except as provided below, the WBMLP shall own the meter and the Interconnecting Customer shall pay to the WBMLP a monthly charge to cover taxes, meter maintenance, incremental reading and billing costs, the allowable return on the invoice cost of the meter, and the depreciation of the meter."
Interconnecting Customer shall design and construct the Facility in accordance with the applicable manufacturer’s
recommended maintenance schedule, in compliance with all aspects of the WBMLP’s requirement. Interconnecting
Customer agrees to cause its Facility to be constructed in accordance with applicable specifications that meet or
exceed those provided under this Section of these Requirements. Production meter not required
