Net Excess Generation Notes

Excess kWh will be purchased by the Coop at avoided cost that changes month to month. Winter months can range from $0.02 - $0.03 / kWh while during Summer can go all the way up to $0.05 / kWh. Excess kWh is defined as having a negative net kWh. At the end of the billing cycle, the total energy consumed will be deducted by the total energy produced from the QF (qualifying facility). The excess kWh will show as a monetary credit on the member's bill. Current rate: $0.03 / kWh

Install Reqs

Utility shall furnish and install a standard kilowatt-hour meter. Customer shall provideand install a meter socket and any related interconnection equipment per Utility’s requirements.
