Plans & docs

Site Plan Reqs
  • Property layout, street access, North arrow (with proper orientation), and nearest cross streets in each direction. Indicate direction of nearest cross street if impractical to show on drawing.
  • Ground mounts must show clearances, setbacks, details of surrounding structures (especially how they cross utility's facilities), and route and length of electrical connections from installation to main premises.
  • Location of AC disconnect
  • Location of generation, inverter, storage and associated electrical equipment
  • Location of service transformer
SLD Reqs
  • Identify utility meter, inverter, generation source and storage (battery) equipment.
  • Indicate DC and AC ratings of any generation source.
  • Indicate AC rating of the inverter.
  • Identify make and model of the Utility AC Disconnect and note that it is lockable with a visible break.
  • Identify POI.
  • Line side taps are allowed but not in meter can.

No attachments by the customer or the customer’s agent are permitted to Company-owned meters, meter circuits, or ancillary meter devices. The following are considered unauthorized connections when not made, installed, or performed by a Company employee or an authorized representative of the Company:

  • Any adapter placed between the revenue meter and meter socket
  • Attachments or connections to the potential or current circuits of transformer rated revenue meters
  • Any connection inside the meter socket
