System Offset Notes

We use PV Watts to size the system to produce the annual kwh consumed by the member up to 20 kw Max for residential and 100 kw max for commercial. However there is a June 1st reset, so any energy credits that are on the books June 1st will go away. The more that you oversize, the more they will give away on June 1st.

Site Plan Reqs

A utility disconnect with visible break within 10' of meter base

SLD Reqs

No, We do NOT allow production meters. Part of the commissioning process is to change the meter to a bi-directional meter with two registers

The line diagrams regarding interconnection of PV+Storage may be problematic in depicting a double pull, double throw transfer switch. This may affect the SE and Tesla infrastructure using an open/closed relay over traditional transfer equipment

Compiled from public records, 2026. Tariffs and interconnection rules change; verify with Palmetto Electric Cooperative, Inc before you rely on this. The useful move: if an installer says you need a main panel upgrade, ask how these tap and interconnection policies were considered first.
