Net Metering Options: Rate 100: Give Back Program - Customer is billed at standard rates for all energy that goes IN the meter and all energy that flows OUT of the meter is "given" back to BCEC. Appropriate for small generating systems. Less than 10 customers on this plan.

Rate 120 "Net Metering Program" - Customer is billed at standard rates for the net energy used in a month. BCEC will buy back excess energy at the avoided cost for the month. There is an additional $15.00 charge to participate in this plan. This would make the customer's total monthly fee: $37.50

Compiled from public records, 2026. Tariffs and interconnection rules change; verify with BCEC - Bowie-Cass Electric Cooperative before you rely on this. The useful move: if an installer says you need a main panel upgrade, ask how these tap and interconnection policies were considered first.
