Net Excess Generation Notes

As measured in KWH, the energy generated by the Feed-In Tariff Customer’s power generating equipment will be credited at the applicable time of day rates and then applied to reduce to the Customer’s monthly bill after the calculation of the Customer’s usage. Any Energy Credit in excess of the Customer’s Energy Charges will be used to offset other charges on that month’s bill. On April 1st of every year, BCLP will pay Feed-In Tariff Customers for any net credit owed to them by BCLP and the Customer’s credit balance will be returned to zero

SLD Reqs

The customer is required to provide and install meter bases in-line between the inverter disconnect switch and the customer's service entrance cable. BCL&P will provide the meters and will monitor the total electrical generation of the photovoltaic system. The location of the meter bases for the Feed In Tariff Production Meters must be approved by BCL&P prior to construction.

"Please see Application Packet for sample Upon approval of the block diagram, Power will

stamp the diagram. Please include the stamped diagram with your solar application."

Compiled from public records, 2026. Tariffs and interconnection rules change; verify with Bountiful City Utilities before you rely on this. The useful move: if an installer says you need a main panel upgrade, ask how these tap and interconnection policies were considered first.
