Net Excess Generation Notes

If the electricity generated by the generator during the billing period, or any portion thereof, exceeds the generator’s electricity usage, then the generator shall be billed for the appropriate base charge as other customers in the same rate class; and credited for the net excess

kilowatt-hours generated during the billing period, with the kilowatt-hour credit appearing on the customer’s bill for the following period. On April 30th of each calendar year, any remaining unused kilowatt-hour credit accumulated by the generator during the previous year shall be granted to the Town of Steilacoom without any compensation to the customer.
