Net Excess Generation Notes

The customer shall be billed monthly on a net energy basis and shall pay the fixed charge and energy charge specified in the rate schedule under which he is served. If, in any month, the customer’s bill has a credit balance of $25 or less, the amount shall be credited to subsequent bills until a debit balance is reestablished. If the credit balance is more than $25, the utility shall reimburse the customer by check upon request. Monthly credits shall be computed by taking the net excess kilowatt-hours produced times the sum of the applicable energy charge plus monthly power cost adjustment clause (PCAC).

"Site Plan showing major equipment, electric service entrance, electric meter(s), location of distributed generation and interface equipment, protection equipment, location of disconnect switch, adjoining street name, and street address of the distributed generation system.

• System capacity must be 0.5 kWDC or greater.

• System must be installed within 90 degrees of due south. (Azimuth)

• Must be installed with a panel tilt between 10-50 degrees.

• Must have less than 10 percent obstacle shading based on analysis of an industry-accepted tool."

Electric Service Reqs

"Any PV installation directly or indirectly connected to the utility distribution network has the potential to send power back on to the grid. The utility is required by the Wisconsin Public Service Commission to purchase any excess generation and so all connected distributed generation is required to be metered according to the WI PSC

There is not a separate PV production meter. A bi-directional meter will be installed by the utility.

Installing a bi-directional meter for grid-connected DG applications is a standard practice."
